Dogs need lots of exercise but sometimes our busy schedules don't allow us the time to go for a nice stroll with our pups.  Poochini's Pet Buddies steps in to exercise your pup while you're away.  Take advantage of our dog walking service if:

• You have a new puppy with lots of energy.

• Your dog needs to lose a little weight.

• Your dog is alone most of the day.

• Your dog gets into trouble because he's bored.

• Your dog needs more opportunities for socialization.

Availability by Season

​

• October - April:  Dog walking is available all day when conditions are safe.

• May and September:  Dog walking is available mornings and evenings when conditions are safe.​

• June, July and August: Dog walking availability is very limited due to high temperatures.

Your pet's safety and well being are top priority.  Las Vegas' extreme temperatures can make it challenging to exercise your dog year round.  In the heat of the summer we can substitute playtime for a walk during the day.  Enrichment is key to a dog's well being so a fun game to play inside will help keep your pup happy and mentally stimulated (which can be as tiring as exercise).

Did you know a dog's pads can start to burn in 60 seconds on a 75 degree day?  To test the heat of the asphalt or concrete place the palm of your hand on the surface for eight seconds.  You'll know if it's too hot for your pup's pads if it's too hot for you!

Dog walking visits may include:

• Walking or playtime

• Feeding/medications

• Fresh water

• Clean up after pet

• Visit report card

*All dogs are required to be current on rabies vaccination prior to care.

Dog walking times are scheduled within two to three hour windows.  If you have a specific time to request because of medications or you have a young puppy I will do my best to accommodate you.

​

Last minute requests will be considered for same day service.  A $5 fee will apply.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to scheduled service.  A fee 0f 50% will apply if less than 24 hour notice is given.

​

Holiday bookings are available first come, first served.  A $5 holiday fee will apply.  

The following are observed holidays: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, MLK Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
